Baby Massage for Parents

Touch is well known to promote bonding, emotional closeness, and an overall sense of wellbeing. When used by parents, touching and baby massage can help ease the new baby's transition from womb to world. Many people, including first-time parents, are timid about handling newborn babies for fear of hurting them. Learning how to touch and massage their baby can help increase parents' confidence in their interactions with their child, while at the same time conveying a message of love, acceptance, and comfort to the little one.
